Solvent-free rice husk mediated efficient approach for synthesis of novel imidazoles and their In vitro bio evaluation

چکیده

An efficient and facile method for the synthesis of substituted imidazoles (10a-10g) has been reported by reacting aldehydes (1–7), benzil (8) ammonium acetate [9] in presence reuseable solid acid catalyst viz. Rice Husk Ash.SO3H (RHA.SO3H) at room temperature. The homogeneity compounds was confirmed melting point thin layer chromatography. All synthesized were characterized 1H NMR FTIR spectral techniques. prepared SEM, TEM X-ray diffraction methods. further tested vitro herbicidal activity against Raphanus sativus L. seeds. also screened their antifungal Rhizoctonia solani Aspergillus niger poisoned food technique method. From bio evaluation data, it found that 10c 10a most active Compound 10g R. fungus highest concentration. 10f shown maximum percentage growth inhibition i.e. 71.89 A. 200 ​μg/mL

Nano-TiO2: A novel, efficient and recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of 1, 2, 4, 5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles in solvent-free conditions

A  convenient  and  efficient  one-pot  four-component  synthesis  of  1,  2,  4,  5-tetrasubstituted  imidazoles  using  nano  TiO2  as  a  recyclable  catalyst  is  reported.  The results  show  that  the  methodology  has  several  advantages  such  as  low  loading  of catalyst,  excellent  yield,  short  reaction  time,  operational  simplicity  and  solvent-free conditions.
